Engine Model

The whole assembly is composed of 190 components, and different subassemblies. These parts were made individually and it took about one month to finish the whole project.

Advanced SolidWorks Features Used

Advanced functions like CAM, boundary base, and reference geometries were used to create complicated parts like exhausts and crankshafts.

Functional

The main purpose of the assembly was to be functional, meaning that the pieces moved like a real engine. The pistons move simultaneously with the cranckshaft in order to show how an IC engine works.
